Arek oversees strategy and research at Polymath Capital. He has 15 years of experience across public and private markets, focusing on venture capital, credit, capital structure arbitrage, and AI-driven systematic macro strategies.
Prior, Arek was a Partner at Firstminute Capital. Formerly at Avenue Capital, a $14Bn AUM special situations fund and at Index Ventures. Amongst others, he is an early backer of such iconic tech companies like Wayve or Revolut. He began his career in Credit Trading at Barclays Capital, gaining experience in flow trading and risk arbitrage. He holds a background in Bioinformatics, Economics, and Law.
